This week we have a story about strokes of luck. Chris Drury of Trumbull, Conneticut is the only athlete to have won both the Stanley Cup (with Colorado in ’01) and the Little League World Series (1989). Drury is also the only victor of both the Hobey Baker Award as the NCAA’s top hockey player and the Calder Memorial Trophy as NHL rookie of the year. It seems like accomplishments just get thrown at this guy, but in my opinion he still doesn’t get all the well-deserved accolades.
The more you know.
