Before he became the Major League pitching ace we identify him as now, Tom Glavine was a letterman in hockey at Billerica Memorial High School. He was Merrimack Valley MVP in his senior year. Glavine was often projected to have a better chance in pro hockey than baseball, but eventually he decided to be the master of his own destiny. We all know what comes next.
